Through a carefully curated selection of works\, the program explores the full spectrum of human emotion—sorrow\, spite\, serenity\, jubilation\, and fear—transforming each into a powerful expression of connection and meaning. \nStructured in sections inspired by pivotal moments in the artist’s growth\, this performance serves as a return to the original source of joy: a deep love of music. Jones and appearances with New York City Opera\, the Unsung Collective at Lincoln Center\, and more. \nDmitriy Glivinskiy\, PianistA Ukrainian pianist\, vocal coach\, and conductor\, Dmitriy is currently Music Director for the Opera Department at University of Connecticut. He is a graduate of Mannes College of Music and the Peabody Institute\, and has worked extensively in opera development and performance. \nAbout the Residency\nThe Patricia Ellen Singing Artist Residency supports classically trained and multi-genre singers (ages 25–65+) who are emerging artists without major management or contracts. The program encourages interdisciplinary collaboration\, community engagement\, and innovative performance approaches beyond the traditional classical music space. \nThe residency is named in honor of Patricia Ellen Moore-Turner\, a Brooklyn-born classical singer and actress\, and a celebrated member of the National Association of Negro Musicians.
